Exclusive: Souls of Liberty - "Fly"
When the homies of Souls of Liberty asked me if I'd drop their latest single, it took no hesitation to make a decision knowing all the music they drop is dope. After hearing the song, it got me even more excited. Make sure you grab this track and support their movement!
As the tarmac on the runways of Lambert Airport sizzles and pops this summer, the Souls of Liberty provide some cool relief with a mellow track featuring the vocals of Nephari Burton, best known for her first place finish at Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater. The engines engage with low-key synths and Nephari's vocals come across the speakers as Fly taxis away from the terminal. Tenelle Donta arrives with the intention to take your spirit higher and get your mind above the clouds of stress and baggage of the daily grind. Once you've reached cruising altitude, Ryan Escobar emerges from the cabin with his blend of soul therapy and inspiration. Over the duration, your shoulders will relax, you will sip a chilled beverage and you will ultimately find yourself gazing over a scenic landscape with a smile playing across your face. Such are the effects of Flying with Souls of Liberty. Your destination is approaching as Ms. Burton croons an uplifting message of climbing to your dreams, and though Fly may only last a few minutes, the feeling of tranquility it brings should last all day.
